You were a dream
and there you were
at the other end
of cables and wires.
Electronic words
connected us
held us
bound us together
allowing the growth
towards each other.
And now my dream is real
and you are here
with me
in my arms
holding fast to us.
My heart beating frantically
my breath hard to summon
but the knot in my stomach
disolving
because you are real.
the reality
of you and me
more
than I ever knew could exist.
You were my dream
and now
I've found you
and dreams
really do come true.
