I watched the plane
as it disappeared
And it was just as
I had feared
You'd forgotten to
return to me
My heart, and I watched
helplessly
As the plane got smaller
to my eye
I stood, and waved
my heart goodbye
I know you'll keep
it safe and treasured
And that soon we'll
be together
But just what am I
supposed to do
Without a heart til
I see you
But wait, what's this
beating in my chest
Oh silly me, I should
have guessed
You left me your heart
to hold and keep
I should have know
with love this deep
Well this is great,
and if you don't mind
I'll just keep yours,
and you keep mine
