My Saving Grace
I don't usually do much in the way of poetry, but in this instance I will make an exception. There is someone in my life that has helped me through a very hard time. It is not over yet but I have every confidence that with the love and support of my dearest Angel I will get through this and come out on top.
This one is for you, Angel.
I have listened to the sound
Of a lonely night
Come a thousand miles
Through a storm filled sky
Looking for some light
Never dreamed of turning back
But faced the wind instead
