Anniversary Sonnet
I want to see what the morning brings
to wake with you curled up on my shoulder or wonder why the bed is much colder
When the sun rises and the alarm rings
I want to dance with you in the moonlight I want to snuggle with you by the fire
I need to dispel all of those most dire
predictions and prove that they're not right. Those people who say that we can't really be in love the way that we say we are:
"It's nearly impossible. You don't know." I say they don't know - can't know how dearly I hold you in my heart, how much I care
how much I want to take that final vow.
