I thought this was forever
How could this feeling just die?
When it was so much alive
You were the very heart of me
The very essence of me
And now, my heart is empty
The feeling completely gone
I've tried to find it again
But it's nowhere to be found

What words will lessen the pain
I doubt that such words exist
It breaks my heart to hurt you
But I won't lie to you now
I won't keep us this facade
You deserve so much better
And so, I must say goodbye
My heart is already gone
I'd bring it back if I could
But I can't; please forgive me
For my heart betrayed us both
