Imagine Me There
You spill
your heart to me, and I feel your pain
And I want nothing more than to gather you in my arms
And hold you until all is made right in your world
Until the pain, anger and stress just all disappear
Until your tears are dried, and your heart is glad
But the miles that lie between us are too great
And we must be content with words of comfort and love
So close your eyes, and imagine me there at your side
And I'll be there, in heart and mind, if not in body
And feel my love wrap around you like a cloak
And let all your troubles fade completely away
And know that in my arms you are free from all peril
And, for at least this space in time, you are safe
