In the darkness of the night

When life's mysteries are pondered

When we speak our minds freely

And bare our souls without restraint

We touch the heavens with truths

That in the daylight remain hidden

Fearful of rejection

In their fragile, yearned for state

Yet in the darkness...freedom

Unbound by the restraints of life

We dare to reach for the stars

In so doing, we free our souls

Desires become tangible

And for just that instant in time

We become superhuman

And nothing is impossible

Not even our wildest dreams
