Nightmare

Part XXXII

Kalen stayed with me through the night

For we were both afraid for me to sleep

Apparently, he was no longer worried about propriety, my

safety coming first

We talked, and cuddled and ultimately, watched the sun

rise together

I had wanted to spend the night looking for the other

journals, but Kalen persuaded me to wait until day So now I begin my search, and Kalen resumes his post Perhaps I am wrong, but I don't think I will find them

here, in her chambers

And after several hours of fruitless searching, it seems

I am right

Hmmmm...where to search next?

Her office, I think, yes, I'm sure of it
