We've only been here a few weeks
And some of the rules have taken a little getting used
to
But we're adjusting
There's a really great club just off base
The music's terrific, and their dance floor's something
else
I've danced with so many soldiers I've lost count
I am having such a great time
We dance the night away
Then go our separate ways
No promises, no committments, no ties
And I like it that way
I don't want to be tied down to any one man
It's so much more fun to play the field
Of course, my family would be horrified
But what they don't know can't hurt me
Right?
Anyway, we're at war
There's no guarantee for tomorrow
So I intend to live for today
