Something In The Air

The night is full of expectancy
A hush is in the air
Something mysterious on the way
Just don't know when or where
I can feel it heading straight for me
But I am not afraid
I feel the blood pulsing through my veins
Senses sharp as a blade
My heart's beating at least double time
The night is flying past
I can barely hold myself in check
My breaths are short and fast
I know that this night belongs to me
It's mine alone to claim
My destiny's arriving tonight
And soon, I'll know his name
