Harry and Desi are busy building a life together after Byron and his family have been shipped off to the Angola State Penitentiary. The happy couple are expecting a baby and happy ever after, only in "All It Took Was You" they get so much more.

Ali writes--Merry Christmas to you all, this is my gift to all of you that asked for it. As you enjoy the holidays, know that I will be sitting at the beach writing the end, so stay tuned it's coming after the first.

Second Half by Niki [unfinished]
Set at college, Kyra is a girl who's starting to get her life back after a dark period. Even though she had told herself she'd never play soccer again, meeting Danni, the captain of the school's team, changes that and it isn't long before she realizes the blonde quickly works her way into her heart. Trying to win the title with the team and wrestling with her growing feelings is big struggle, complicated by past actions and a fear to let someone in once again.

On Halloween, no less. They soon discover, however, that this is not your usual garden variety church service. Jess and Andi make a hasty escape only to realize that they've lost Andi's treasured locket, an heirloom, and , must return to the scene of the....of the what? I won't reveal that:} You must discover this for yourself. Go on I dare you.
Anais writes with a fluid, descriptive style that often times leaves the reader feeling like they're watching a video tape instead of reading a story. Curl up on the sofa to enjoy this short tale. To find out the fate of Andi and Jess head over to The Academy.

Announcement

Bardcon.org will be holding their first (of what hopes to be) annual meeting in Chicago April 13^th and 14^th, 2002. We expect first year attendance at 200 people and we are planning things accordingly. At this time we are researching locations and expect ticket prices to be between $30-40 for both days of the convention. A dinner is also being planned for 7 pm on Sunday, the final day of the convention at a separate charge — this again will be in the $30-40 range. If feasible we may offer a discount to those who purchase both a con ticket and a dinner ticket.

We’re currently looking for fan fiction writers who would like to meet with fans that weekend to discuss the characters we love. Buffy, Xena, Star Trek, Star Wars, you name it — it’s a workshop/panel/seminar atmosphere which will let the ‘bards’ interact with the readers and vice verse. As an added bonus to Xena fans, the About Face Theater will be doing a musical revue of Xena Live II with a special performance time for us, which will be announced at a later date, where the audience can do a Q and A with the shows stars and writers. Ticket prices for Xena Live will also follow soon.

Currently, we’re searching for fan fiction writers from all areas on the web. If you think you’re interested in attending and/or would like to be part of a discussion/signing event please email bardcon@hotmail.com and information will be sent to you.

We’ve been to many official conventions over the years and one of the most appeal aspects are the fan run events during those times. This is a convention created by the fans for the fans so we ask that you take the time to consider it and please let us know if you would be willing to commit to a tentative schedule.
